Charles Thomas

Charles Thomas is an attorney in Dethlefs-Pykosh Law Group's West Chester, Pennsylvania office where he practices personal litigation, representing individuals in civil and criminal matters.
Charles graduated in 2002 from Rutgers University Law School in Camden, New Jersey where he studied the ways in which the law impacts the lives of people. After law school, Charles worked at the Lancaster County Public Defender's Office practicing criminal law on behalf of indigent persons who had been accused of crimes. Charles has served as lead counsel in a number of high profile matters, including successfully defending a first degree felony in a jury trial. Charles also has an innate sense for questions of law having served as lead appellate counsel in two cases that helped define the constitutional rights of persons on probation or parole.
Charles left the Public Defender's office, and in 2008 opened a solo practice serving five counties around Philadelphia. He has extensive experience in Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties, and has also represented clients in Berks, Lebanon, Lehigh, and Delaware Counties.
